Summary
In a not so far off future, the continuous emigration of able-bodied women has hit a critical breaking-point, and left the nation with an over-abundance of increasingly non-cooperative men. Having run out of more moderate solutions, the government covertly implements a radical new agenda, causing the comprehensive restructuring of an entire society.
All men between the age of 18 and 35 are to undergo complete physical and psycological evaluations. Any that are found possesing an alarming amount of counterproductive traits are paired with a custodian from the pool of adequate men, and undergo extensive procedures to fit into their new roles in society.

Summary
Aaron had it all. He was popular, good looking, athletic, with better-than-average grades and good prospects. But just as he was about to leave for university, it all came crashing down.
Government agents began flooding his small town, aiming to capture and repurpose “inadequate males” for other men to enjoy. Aaron never thought he would be one of their targets, until a yellow envelope appeared at his house. Surely this was a mistake?
Still, as agents came knocking on his door, he knew he only had one option. He had to run away…

Summary
“Are you looking forward to this, Jacob?” Tom asked his son, his voice softer than it had been at the morning press conference.
"How can I be excited when you haven't told me where we are going?" The Jacob grumbled.
Their vehicle pulled to a stop in front of a high wrought-iron gate. Jacob slid across the seat and stepped out, his shoes crunching softly against the gravel. The windowless building had sharp geometry, almost clinical, the gapped door opening into complete darkness. As Jacob turned back towards his Dad's car one last time, a stranger's arm grabbed him from behind. Jacob let out a small boyish yelp, spinning around to see three faces he had never seen before looming over him. One man had a beard, and one did not, with the third not having any hair on his head at all.
"You must be Jacob," The bearded man spoke. Jacob looked up at the men with wide eyes, fear rooting him to the spot. The bearded man crouched slightly, bringing himself closer to Jacob’s height. His voice was gentle, but it sounded rehearsed, practised, like he had done this many times before. “There’s no need to be frightened. You’re not in trouble. We’ve been looking forward to meeting you."
