“I’m aware,” he closed his eyes and warded off the nausea rising in his chest.
“She’d probably like to know what her mother was like. She deserves that much.”
Kaz scowled darkly, eyes still shut tight and shrugged. “Jesper has enough stories for her. He was always better at it.”
“Better than her father?”
“They probably know more about her than I do by now. They probably set a damn place for her at the dinner table each night.” He smashed his fist down on the windowsill a bit harder than he intended, tremors vibrating up his arm, and his gaze burning two holes into the wood grain staring up at him. His other hand gripped the ceramic mug with shaking fingers.
Nina snapped back, her arms folding across her chest protectively, “Well, she probably sits there more often than she sits on your fucking roof.”

Summary
Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward.
Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.

10 years after the events of Crooked Kingdom Kaz and Inej have finally found some stability in their lives, when Inej comes home from one of her trips with a little girl hiding behind her, and Kaz will have to figure out how being a father fits with being a Barrel Boss.
