Leo huffs in frustration, tapping his brother's wrist once more, this time just to find some outlet for his mounting stress.
"Usagi," he clarified, cursing the increasingly severe pain in his throat. "I have to call him."

Leo had spoken a lot of “last words” in his life -almost always as a joke, but watching as Krang One lumbered towards his slouched form, all grating, metal armor and fury, Leo wished he could have thought of something more meaningful to say as he released his hold of the last Krang and watched the light of the portal close in on itself.
OR:
Leo is recovering from his time in the prison dimension, but the prison dimension was built to keep the Krang confined, nothing else. Even Leo's brief exposure to the prison dimension was enough to make him realize this. -

Summary
Raphael was separated from his brothers during the lab explosion and raised by Splinter. Assuming they were dead, Splinter never spoke about his other sons- but Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo were being raised by Baron Draxum all this time.
With the help of three soldiers, Baron Draxum finds his plans are much more successful. With the death of three children weighing on his mind, Splinter finds himself much less prepared.
