In the door to their bedroom stands Dan, except Dan is pretty sure that he’s in the bed and also, he’s not that young anymore. The face of the other Dan is smooth, free of any crease, full, his curls shorter, his expression lost. He stands pressed against the side of the doorframe, arms wrapped around himself like a security blanket.
“Dafuq?”
In 2016, a younger Dan attempts suicide and wakes up in his own future.

Summary
Dan could keep doing this for hours, if it didn’t tire him out. Maybe even then, he could, because there’s something about hearing and feeling this lustfulness from Phil that makes it easy to let go of everything else.
