Summary
Jack is angry, conflicted and ashamed. Ianto was right, they never asked about his life. Ianto was on suspension for 4 weeks. Jack decided that he was going to get to know Ianto before he decided if/when he would allow the young man back at Torchwood or if there would be dire consequences and more permanent retirement. What he did not expect to find was a friend and lover on his way.
*Finally updated and finished 11/2018. There has been a lot added to the finished draft, so...give it another read over. Thanks to many of you who liked it and kept at me to finish (editing takes sooo much longer than writing). If I have forgotten to dedicate this story to anyone else I am so sorry, send me a comment and I will add you to the list. It was so late and I posted when I was tired so hopefully it is coherent.
