Summary
It has been five months since the events at the reservoir, and life finally seems to have settled into a new norm for Buck and Eddie. Buck is thriving, as he learns to harness the potential in his new abilities, and Eddie as always is right by his side. At home, their bond is flourishing, as they use their down time to truly embrace being a family, while the chaos of work is keeping them on their toes, as the 118 officially embrace their advanced station status. All in all, life is pretty perfect.
So what happens when an unwanted phone call, an unexpected opportunity, and an unprecedented storm suddenly upend everything, and set them on a path they never could have imagined. Along with new friends they meet along the way, join Buck and Eddie as they explore the magical world of the elements, and the bonds that tie them to it.

Summary
Buck made a friend as a child that would stay with him from that day on. That friend just so happened to be a spirited little water elemental. A promise has kept their bond a secret his entire life, but now that Buck is older, and a very perceptive Eddie Diaz has entered the picture, keeping his secret might not be as easy, or necessary, as he thought.
Follow Buck as he learns more about his bond and abilities, all while dragging an unaware Eddie and Chris along for the ride.

Buck’s mouth opened.
Eddie got there first. “Because you have to ask someone before you marry them.”

Then he looked at Buck. “Did you ask?”
“No,” Buck said quickly.
Theo looked at Eddie. “Did you ask?”

Summary
