He wants to say all of those things but Derek looks him in the eyes and Stiles sees nothing in Derek’s gaze and his heart doesn’t break but it does implode, caves in on itself like a black hole, a deep infinite well of dark nothingness.

When Stiles realizes that he and Derek are soulmates who've lived countless lives together across all the planes of existence he's blown away. Until, that is, he realizes that Derek doesn't recognize him the way Stiles recognizes Derek and doesn't seem even remotely interested in trying to. Then he just does his best to hold on for as long as he can.

Summary
Of course, the transfer kid gets mentioned because transfers are rare, but the news isn’t that exciting. In fact, according to Laura, no one even seems to know his first name. The only thing anyone has really figured out about him is that he’s American. And that’s not exactly hard because he obviously has an accent.
The only thing Derek really knows is that, despite other reports, he seems quiet enough, prefers to work alone, and has the most amazing shade of amber eyes that Derek has ever seen.
Not that he’s looking. Obviously.

Summary
Miguel (he looked like a Miguel okay!?) was probably extremely attractive when he wasn’t hanging from a wall.
He had the physique of a Greek God, something Stiles only noticed because he was checking for injuries!
And his face! He had the exact right amount of stubble to jaw ratio. And his eyebrows! Stiles had never thought of himself as having a thing for eyebrows before but he’d be willing to give it a go for this guy.
