    Well. That was just sweet. In this universe the boys are a bit more vulnerable, and a bit more aware of eachother's situations leading to a nice, early, resolution. Illya's family still sucks, depression sucks, Rose is still amazing.

    There might be something to these regency themed things. This story was cute, and had it's steamy moments, and it's silly boys being martyrs moments, but overall it was a bunch of mid-20s rich kids having a mixer. I have no clue how the author came up with all the international court politics and lordships, but they did a good job of including canon characters without it getting overwhelming.

    Bookmarking as of 9 chapters written.
    This fic is sweet, it really uses the plot device of Shane's writing to help explore the underlying feelings of the guys and instigate improved communication. The misunderstandings of how exactly Jane Dutch is related to the hockey world is a funny ongoing bit. I cannot imagine the level of emotion involved when Shane realises his mother has read his smutty fics; absolutely mortifying.

Why do he and Ilya keep having to answer questions about their marriage, and not get to talk about the incredible start to the season that their team is having? Maybe if they do one podcast, with hosts who are normal people, they can just tell their whole story and focus on bringing the Stanley Cup to Ottawa.

    I loved this interview/social media fic. The author did a great job of creating an engaging interview while still allowing it to be read in fic format. The questions made sense, the hosts were like real people, and the social media comments were just the right amount of unhinged.
