In the two years since the war the fractures in the turtles’ family have only deepened, and only small disheartened attempts have been made to mend. Their teamwork is robotic, monotonous and half-hearted at best; without Leo, they’re nothing but an empty shell of the heroic team they once were.
Each in their own way tries desperately to find any lead or information about their brother, but as their searches go on they stumble upon a growing threat right in the middle of the city, one that directly threatens what’s left of their family. Realising this, Raph, Donnie, Mikey and friends must put aside their grief and fight once more to protect who and what they love.
Meanwhile, far far across the universe, a single blue star burns with the flames of rebellion, igniting a cosmic storm that will change the entire order of space and time, all for the single chance of returning home.
