    “I don’t want to do this,” Andrey said. A prayer was creeping into his voice, desperation for Goncharov to understand. “If it was up to me, it wouldn’t end like this. You have people wanting you to get away from it all, wanting you to live, waiting for you to make one last grand escape. Waiting for you. The funny thing is, nobody’s ever waited for me.”

    Goncharov stepped closer. “I did.” The wind was picking up even more, tearing at their skin and hair like it wanted to rip them apart. “I do.” He was close enough to lay a hand on the gun. “I will.”

It's all for the evil master plan, no matter what anyone says. Especially the part where he takes baby Yuji on a picnic.

    Dean survives the rebar but is left to deal with a life of disability and chronic pain. The only upside to all of this is that Cas is alive, albeit human—all thanks to Jack. When a mysterious murder has them to jump back into hunting, bringing them face-to-face with a familiar enemy from the past, Dean is forced to confront his feelings for Cas. Cas, on the other hand, has to come to terms with his humanity and the fact that Dean may never truly reciprocate what Cas feels for him.
