Kirishima’s eyes widened, and Mina let out a suprised squeak of excitement. Kaminari and Sero exchanged mischievous look before they both burst into laughter, clearly amused by the unexpected scene.
“Whoa, wait is this for real?” Kaminari snickered, whiping a tear from the corner of his eye “Did someone dare you to ask him out or something?”
“Yeah, seriously,” Sero added with a grin. “ I mean, of all people, you pick Bakugou? Are you out of your mind?”OR

Then Dustin said, “I mean honestly you should just date Steve.”
The world stopped.
Steve looked up so fast he almost got whiplash.
Dustin shrugged innocently. “You’re basically attached at the hip already.”Maybe this was it.
Maybe Eddie would laugh awkwardly and confess something too. Maybe all those looks and soft touches and moments had meant what Steve desperately wanted them to mean.
Then Eddie laughed.
Not nervous or soft.
A painful pointed laugh, as if amused by the absurdity of the suggestion.
“Steve?” he said.
And something inside him immediately started shrinking.
Eddie kept laughing, shaking his head. “Oh God, absolutely not.”

Ilya’s hand wraps around his bare wrist and squeezes. Shane barely stops himself from collapsing to his knees.
The pressure lights up every receptor of his touch-starved nervous system, wrenching a small, pained noise from the back of his throat. Every muted sensation comes flooding back so intensely that it almost hurts. He needs Ilya to hold him down until there’s nothing inside him but quiet. He wants to sink into him and disappear.
It takes Shane an entire beat to remember where they are. Fighting against the fog in his mind, he manages to drag his gaze up to meet Ilya’s.
There’s a slow-dawning horror and understanding on Ilya’s face.

And Izuku had gone rabid, he had downright lost his mind, because he was totally okay with being called names and with being belittled; he had dealt with that sort of thing throughout his entire life. He was okay with that, as long as that gruesome villain kept Kacchan’s name out of his filthy mouth.
Izuku had always been like this, even during childhood. Badmouth Kacchan in front of him? Meet his rage, and quite possibly his fists. Maybe that’s just what love is for him. Standing up for someone.
But Kacchan doesn’t love him. Izuku knows that much now. If he did, he wouldn’t have used Izuku to stand up for himself.
Alternatively: Katsuki is in the closet, but he finds out a homophobe is in his pro-hero fanbase. Because of that, he kisses Izuku in front of the man just to make a statement, not aware that Izuku has feelings for him. A lot of trouble ensues.
