Summary
The Dark Lord lost the first war. After freeing his followers from Azkaban after his return, he picks up where he left off. But Rabastan doesn't see a future in doing exactly what led to their failure the first time. So, to protect himself and for the good of his House, he decides to look for that future elsewhere. He finds it in an old contract and in the mercy of his enemies.
