Summary
FauxPause's Over Involved Meta Based Comments are being rehoused and revamped here. Each Chapter will be a Comment or Topic. I am open to requests both out in the wild (a comments section near you) and on any chapter here.
Each of these will be based on canon citations (to be provided as images when available) and will contain personal interpretations and meta (meaning I'll step outside of the box of each comic to talk about what was happening in the year it was written, who did said writing, and how that's aged as time has gone on). I do consider these to be fan works so please do not report otherwise.

The guy put up his hands placatingly, “Jeez, it’s no big deal. Someone has already paid for your meal, paid in advance.”
“Who was it?”
A shrug, “No idea.”
“What did they look like?”
“Look, I don’t know, man, I didn’t get a good look at his face. Now do you want your food or not?”
Jason took it, brought it to one of his more expendable safehouses, and looked it over. He wasn’t the bat, but he did live by the code of “it’s not paranoia if they’re really out to get you”.
Of course, he never suspected someone was trying to get him with kindness.

Summary
When Dick was Batman he created the Rapunzel Code. It was twist on the fairy tale and twist on being benched that let him protect his Batgirl and Robin in a different way.
After a rough night, Steph and Damian use the code on a very tired Dick. Only Dick is no longer Batman and the entire family is there to watch. They have questions. Many questions, in fact, so it's a good thing they also found a box full of letters Dick wrote to them at that time.

Ch 6 is honestly one of the best ways I have seen the Dick & Tim fracture explained and boiled down to we thought too much of each other I didn't even think you might have doubts in this, so close to the og Dick & Bruce fracture but without what I think makes Bruce a bad or c- parent

The first time Jason Todd called him, Dick was pleasantly surprised. Despite being the one to give the kid his number, he didn’t expect to get a call from the new Robin so soon. He was hoping that Jason would take his olive branch, so they could really start over on better terms. He just didn’t imagine it would happen this soon.

Dick was almost asleep when Jason spoke again. He couldn’t see his brother clearly in the dark room, but he could feel him move his head away from Dick’s chest.
“Dickie,” Jason waited for Dick’s small noise of acknowledgement before he kept talking. “Why did you hate me before?”
