“Oh…” her voice trails off, she is standing about a yard away from him and he thinks about how he had encountered her in his wolf skin, she smells just as good — stirring something inside of him that he didn’t know existed. “Be careful out here, there are a lot of things you wouldn’t expect in the forest.” She pauses, her eyes growing wide with excitement. “I’ve been tracking prints, a wolf it looks like, but the paws — they are the size of a bear. Maybe bigger.”
His heart skips a beat, but he keeps his voice calm, even. “Maybe it’s a werewolf.”

Summary
Ben Solo, and his notoriously short fuse, finds himself dragged along on Poe and Finn's joint "Bachelor Weekend" Camping Trip. Organizing the trip is Rey; who he can't tell actually hates him or not. But because of all these interconnected people, and Poe knowing just about everything there is to know about his family, he finds out he's not getting away from his past when he's isolated with fragments of it alone in the woods for a weekend.
Especially since Rey won't let it go.

“You’ll be safe here. No Alpha will ever see you. Except for him,” her smile is sad as she peppers in a mention of the Alpha as an afterthought. “He’s our caretaker. He mostly fixes things around the convent and attends mass with us. He won’t issue any commands to you.”
Rey doesn’t move until the breeze from the window drops the scent. Even distant, it’s strong.
Bazine snorts at Rose, her drumming abandoned for now. Rey does hope this isn’t a common habit for a roommate.
“In order to issue commands, he’d have to talk. At all.”
Bazine emphasizes this by making a cutting motion with her hand across her throat.
