Kakashi was confused. He had come to the Training ground seven early morning to ignore his Jounin duty's. Maybe finish re-reading Icha Icha, while laying down. Yet, behind some bushes, in the far corner were 2 people matted with ash and blood caked to just about everything. More surprisingly they were spooning? They just screamed trouble, and Kakashi knew that this would call upon his Jounin responsibility. Kakashi just wants to rest.
Or every time travel fic where Naruto and Gaara cause chaos and protect what’s theirs. While not dealing with the Leafs bullshit. Que traumatic flashback and everyone is so confused. Ugh life is so hard.

They were as much a mission as they were anything else and Kakashi never failed his missions. In a village of secrets, within the miles of red tape that surrounded his brand new students, opposition was only ever a few steps away, but Kakashi wasn't worried. Team Seven always had a way of surpassing expectations. These three would be no different. Kakashi would make sure of that.
