In a world where Metas — supernatural creatures — were hunted to the edge of extinction by humanity, two teenagers raised in Asgard discover that everything they knew was a lie.
Loki, prince of Asgard, never knew he was a frost giant slowly poisoned to appear human. Peter Parker, a common market boy, never knew he was a werewolf cub modified in a secret laboratory.
When the Avengers — warriors of the Meta Kingdom — tear them from their lives and deliver them to their biological parents, both boys face families who love them with suffocating intensity, cultures that see them as infants, and a war that needs them as weapons.
Laufey, King of the Metas, has recovered the baby stolen from him sixteen years ago. He will not let go again. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers have found the cub they thought was dead. They will not lose him twice.
But Loki is not a baby. Peter is not a cub. And neither of them asked to be saved.
Borders of blood separate two worlds. But blood also binds.

“You did not summon me. I mean, where do you get off on trying to ask me to do something for you when you didn’t even try? Also, demon? Like, come on, I know it’s the twenty-first century, but you don’t need to be so rude.” Loki exclaimed dramatically and Sam made a small choking noise from behind his gag that was supposed to be a laugh. The god glanced at him and winked again, just for a second, before looking back to Cult Member #1.
“Then…Then why are you here?”
“Oh, easy. He summoned me,” Loki replied cheerfully, pointing right at Sam, who blinked slowly in confusion.
Or: that time when Sam Winchester was kidnapped by a cult to be used as a sacrifice only for the god he was sacrificed to help him instead of the cult members.
Or or: that time when Sam Winchester entered a six-month-long situationship with a Trickster god, who he later finds out is actually an archangel.

“Peter Parker, Level 9 Access (Redacted).”
Uh–what? Had he heard that right?
or: a field trip fic in which peter has never met tony stark, and therefore has never had an internship, but has unlimited access to stark industries anyways and is completely perplexed by it.

A full day at Stark Tower means uninterrupted lab time, finishing his first real piece of tech, and absolutely no Flash Thompson.
Unfortunately, it also means his entire class accidentally discovering that Peter Parker works for Tony Stark.
