Summary
A dizzying tension seemed to fill Dick’s head the longer he stared, obscuring any semblance of a reasonable thought. None of it made sense: the bright red outfit where every other Shadow wore black, the way his sword looked both natural and out of place in his skilled hands, the fact that he seemed oddly…familiar.
Was he even real?
“Is that a sword in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?” The words slipped out before Dick could bite his tongue, and he found himself wishing the assassin would rethink his position on not killing him, if only to spare Dick any further humiliation. “That came out wrong…”
During a self-imposed sabbatical from the team, Dick encounters the strangest of mysteries in Gotham City involving the League of Shadows, a ninja dressed in Red, and a long-lost Robin he thought to be dead.

Wait. Fathers. Sons.“...Or maybe you two shouldn’t kiss. It’d be quite inappropriate, wouldn’t it?”
Payback never felt so sweet.
Dick tilted his head in confusion while Chance scowled at the interruption. “What do you mean, Robin?”
He painted on a face of innocence, waving to Bruce and Two-Face’s limping crawl in the distance. “I mean, they look pretty chummy over there. I know it’s been awhile, but didn’t they use to have a thing? I’m no expert, but it certainly looks like our dads could be reconnecting, if you know what I mean.”
Tim winked just to see the murderous glint in Chance’s eyes darken. Success.

Summary
The thing was, Peter was stuck with Johnny forever, basically. The super glue of unintentional friendship. It was cosmic, fated, and incredibly annoying. Johnny Storm might have been a handbasket of bad decisions and personality defects wrapped up with an incredible smile, but he was Peter’s handbasket of bad decisions -- of which Daken was still the worst one Johnny had ever made, and Johnny had made some truly bad decisions.

He was exhausted, tired enough not to realize anything was out of place at first. Dark room, cool sheets, warm body. It seemed natural to fit himself against his partner’s sleeping form, to pull them closer, his hand fitted to their naked hip. They sighed, on the edge of waking, and he made a soft noise: don’t bother, it’s just me.
The cagey feeling in his chest settled. It felt right to be here.
Then Peter remembered he wasn’t seeing anyone, definitely not anyone this toned or muscled, and his eyes flew open.

Strictly speaking, the roleplaying wasn’t Peter’s thing, but Johnny was into it, and Peter was into Johnny being into things. (“Aw,” Johnny had said when he expressed the sentiment, leaning over to pinch Peter’s cheek. Peter had some serious regrets. “That’s so embarrassing for you.”)
Unfortunately, like everything where they were involved, things tended to start simple and escalate until someone was in jail.
