Summary
Distantly, Gurathin remembered the union snipers on the upper floors, the drone clouds they'd all coded in case of emergency. The dull ache of his body, sharper on the side of his head, was fighting the painkillers he'd gotten loaded on beforehand. His feed was a panorama of warnings and the empty boxes of blocked ads.
He was cannon fodder with no actual conviction, an indentured systems engineer with expensive augments. The SecUnit advancing over his sprawled shape hadn't come for him - Not really.

Ratthi correctly predicts Murderbot crashing out upon discovering Three and Gurathin acting all chummy. Mainly I just love that Ratthi and Secunit are a little anxious for Gurathin’s attention.
