Summary
Looking down, Max uncrossed his ankles and sighed. “What was the question again?”
Daniel balked a little but answered easily. “So why come on this show?”
“I mean isn’t it obvious?” he asked, looking up from his hands and out into the dark of the makeshift studio where he knew the camera was, where Daniel was standing with his headset and his ipad and probably an exasperated look at his answer. “We’re all here for the same thing, I’m no different.” There was only darkness straight ahead.
Daniel’s voice, upbeat and encouraging, cut through. “And what’s everyone here for, Maxie?”
“Love, I guess,” said Max. The lights were disorienting compared to the dark and he blinked and had to look away. He amended with a tilt of his head, down, to his clasped hands. “Of course.”
Max and Charles meet in the pods on Love Is Blind. As in every setting, they push and pull and find out they're perfect for each other all along.

Summary
Two princes. Two golden cages. One disastrous vacation.
Max, the reserved Prince of Orange, escapes to a secluded Mediterranean villa hoping to forget everything he can never be: charming, carefree, desired. Unfortunately for him, the universe has a cruel sense of humor — because the man occupying the other half of the villa is Prince Charles of Monaco himself.
Charles, Europe’s favorite royal playboy, arrives nursing a shattered heart and a dangerous secret beneath his scandalous reputation. The last person he wants to see is the Dutch heir whose existence embodies everything he has lost.
Forced into uneasy proximity, the two princes quickly discover that envy and resentment are far more complicated than they seem — especially when attraction enters the equation.
And somewhere between sleepless nights, emotional breakdowns, and an illegal street race on a cliffside road, both men may be forced to confront the truth they have spent their entire lives avoiding.

Summary
♔ Article 10. Succession to the Throne, opened following death or abdication, takes place in the direct and legitimate descent of the reigning Prince, in order of primogeniture with male priority to the same degree of kinship.
"I never understood how you were able to race as a prince," Max noted, watching him intently.
"Because I’m a bastard,” Charles said simply, ignoring the way Max flinches at the word. "My father married my mother without the Sovereign's approval. For the purposes of succession, that made us illegitimate." He kept his voice perfectly flat and practised. "Later, my grandfather lobbied heavily to change the constitution. It was easy to sell a legal text that allowed us to rejoin the line if something terrible happened to my uncle. Especially if the new law strictly excluded adopted children from the throne."
Max stared at him, slowly putting the pieces together. "He would rather rewrite the constitution than have an adopted grandson in the palace."
Charles drained the rest of his amber liquid, setting the heavy glass down. "He ensured the Crown only ever falls to a very specific type of family."Bookmarked by Namjoons_left_toe
