Akaza stares, slack-jawed in awe as the beautiful blond man from the table of nine smiles at him sheepishly while holding out his mug. “Sorry, but would you mind adding some extra milk to this?”
He’s so beautiful. Akaza feels faint. He’s going to pass out. He can’t even breathe.
Say something smart. Be smooth. Don’t stutter.
To his utter horror, what comes out instead is this:
“Sure!” He raises his free hand to reach for the man’s mug. “Just take your top off and I’ll milk you!”
Or, the one where Akaza meets his ideal type working as a barista and proceeds to fail miserably at asking for a date. The only question is: is there any way to comeback from such a humilation?

Summary
As the end of high school approaches, Tanjiro's commitment to his grades declines like a downwards slope. With his father gone, who has time to study when he's got more pressing matters to prioritise? Club-activities. Assignments. Relationships. They all seem so trivial when his focus is entirely split between keeping the bakery afloat and acting like a father-figure to his younger siblings. He had almost resigned himself to this downwards trajectory of his final year.
That is, until one day, his history teacher takes notice of his changed attitude, setting blaze to a passionate fire neither of them could've anticipated.

Falling under an unknown illness he is forced to grapple with its effects while his life is made hell, meanwhile the demon he thought he hated becomes an unlikely source of understanding.
With the story now thrown of course, the fate of the world hinges on the understanding between a slayer and a demon.
