“Being the Fire Lord is pretty dull,” Zuko said glumly, "unless you enjoy hearing people bicker about taxes. After a while, thwarting the occasional assassination is basically a form of stress relief."
In which Fire Lord Zuko and Ambassador Sokka get drunk, go fishing, watch theatre, uncover a conspiracy, visit a teahouse, destroy a historical monument, and reckon with the painful legacy of the past – but not necessarily in that order.

Sokka's life as a young intelligence analyst is largely uneventful — at least, it is until The Blue Spirit, notorious assassin, suddenly comes out of retirement, and Sokka finds himself drawn into a game of cat and mouse that can only end in disaster.

Piandao always keeps the closed captions on; they help him understand the English. That day he noticed someone had made a mistake at the T.V. station. The text underneath the man said: There's a mystery to being gay.
He laughed. And then he thought about calling Jeong Jeong.
It's 1993: Piandao is an Taiwanese PhD student who just wants to get his green card and teach. Jeong Jeong is an openly gay Korean-American activist vacillating between militant idealism and total despair. The two of them shouldn’t even be friends, except they are. They play a lot of Go. They spend a lot of time in cars. It's a love story.
Oh, and — Jeong Jeong writes a screenplay. It looks a bit familiar.

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.
