sanji and zoro meet in and escape from germa's prison at eight. by the time reiju helps sanji escape, months after zoro has entered the prison, he's been transformed into a tiger as a result of a curse. over almost two years they walk alone in the wilderness to the nearest witch, who sanji hopes will be able to lift the curse. over the next nine years – that they spend with the witch (robin), franky, and zeff – sanji and zoro grow closer while still outwardly denying their feelings for each other. finally there is a near death experience and sanji confesses his love and the curse breaks. (the outcome of the plot device that leads to the near death experience is never properly wrapped up but that's fine cause it isn't really the point, but would be better if it did.) features: jealous sanji and jealous & possessive zoro. *chefs kiss*
