Summary
Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are finally wed after years of betrothal arranged by their clans. “It is not permitted,” he repeated. As a test, he cautiously added, “Wei Ying.”
“Hmm.” Wei Wuxian—Wei Ying—looked momentarily caught between irritation and satisfaction, but soon brightened, clearly giving in to the latter. “Alright.” He continued smiling even as he began to shrug out of his robes.
“What are you doing?” Lan Wangji’s voice had taken on a much higher pitch than usual, and he had to stop himself from rushing forward to physically apprehend his husband.

So there was this jar, and it had so much peanut butter still in it, and when his fox nose scented it and didn’t catch any poison or spoilage, what was he supposed to do? Not avail himself of this gift? No. He shoved his delicate little snout right in there and got to licking, but, you know… Elegantly. Definitely not snarfing and making horrible little fox sounds and rolling around on the ground while he went ham on the jar. Sure, he had to work a little bit to get at the last of it, but anything good is worth working for, right? So finally, triumphant, no longer starving, and maybe a little thirsty now from eating half a cup of peanut butter in about two minutes, he’d tried to remove his head from the jar.
Operative word tried.
Or: Wei Ying gets stuck. Lan Zhan helps.

Lan Wangji couldn't remember the last time he heard the words "my lord" come out of Wei Ying's mouth in earnest rather than in jest or mockery. He was rather resigned to the fact that he was saddled with a gentleman's valet who took no orders. Though the only order Wangji wanted to give to Wei Yang was, "Lick me."
Georgian Era mini mystery. It's like Jeeves and Wooster except they're both brilliant and they get together in the end.
