Shay Cormac could have died, all too easily, in the aftermath of what happened to Lisbon—what he did to Lisbon—or when his own Brotherhood shot him in the back. Despite everything, though, he's still here. Maybe he shouldn't be, but... he is.
It's a shame he never got to meet the Kenways before ending up as a shadow of his former self, though. He certainly doesn't deserve being dragged off to meet them—let alone any of their misplaced kindness—now.

Summary
Camp Half-Blood is attacked late into the afternoon, just before summer, and it's evident that the attacker tried (and failed) to frame the Romans.
Nico and Will quickly realize that the attacker will strike again, but with no evidence to go off on the pair decide to do some good old fashioned detective work.
"We're a pair of gumshoes!" Will dryly laughs while Nico rolls his eyes.
Meanwhile, Percy is struggling immensely with the idea of being involved with yet another damn prophecy. Especially after finally getting a handle on his life, for crying out loud he just got engaged!
Couldn't the prophecy have taken him to a *different* city at least? Neither him or Annabeth really like Vegas.
Especially not after slowly unraveling the horrific deeds of the previous generation of Half-Bloods, and the damage they've done to the world.
All to hide the greatest invention of Leonardo da Vinci
(Reading Act 1 isn't really *required* as I should hopefully do a good of enough of a job to explain what happens, but yeah. Sequel to Trials of Apollo because Triumvirate has left a power vacuum and power vacuum means conflict, and conflict means Percy is gonna suffer in some convoluted way.)

A Senator from a less prominent planet has had enough of Chancellor Palpatine's incompetence and calls for a Vote of No-Confidence and the installation of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.
This one action becomes the catalyst that changes the direction of the galaxy.

Cody watches the scene in horror. His vod’ika’s hand holding the pistol is trembling. He watches Rex’s internal battle, not knowing which side is going to win. What brought you to this point, Rex?
“I have to do this,” Rex says aloud, the internal battle becoming external.
“You can't do it, can you?” Krell continues to mock. “Eventually, you'll have to do-,” a weapon discharges, Krell slumps, “-the right thing”.
Rex whirls around, surprised. The rest of the men in the room look similarly confused, a shiny looking down at the blaster he was in the middle of removing from Fives' holster, before chaos erupts.
Something dinks off of a metal surface somewhere in the room and the feed starts to cloud up. Blaster fire lights up the smoke filling the room, but the smoke can't hide the sight of a Commando droid stalking past the camera. Cody can hear coughing and several names being shouted. The feed then fizzles out, indicative of an EMP being used.
Cody, his General, and his vode stand there in stunned silence.

Stoick should have known better. While he didn't know much about his son-especially now-he knew the boy was clever. It should have been no surprise when a guard burst into the Council Meeting and revealed that Hiccup had escaped the cell Stoick put him in...hours after the boy was revealed to have saddled a dragon.
Hiccup is gone, and so is the beast.
They search, but do not find him. Berk falls asleep one night and awakens in the Great Hall, where the torches come to life and cast an image of their isle on the wall, from which floats Hiccup's voice, years younger.
AKA, Hiccup forfeited the final challenge, leaving Astrid with the right to kill the Nightmare. Story picks up in the Race to the Edge era, except Berk never learned the truth of dragons, no one knows how Hiccup really lost his leg, and stories of a hooded 'vigilante' riding a Night Fury have been long whispered...and Berk will see it all unfold.

Obi-Wan froze in place the moment he looked up. His eyes observed the large statues one by one.
Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Kit Fisto– they were all Councillors during the War.
Obi-Wan stood in front of the statues as tears welled up in his eyes. He hadn’t seen them in a long time and these statues looked exactly like them. From facial features and expression down to the way they were seated– as if they were in a regular Council meeting.
“Look Uncle Ben! It’s–” Obi-Wan leaped to Luke and covered his mouth before he could say anything else.
“Yes, I see, it’s General Kenobi.” He hoped the beings whose attention was drawn towards them would move on quickly. “But try not to shout, Luke, alright?”
His eyes left the boy to observe the statue of himself.
