Summary
Dick fucking Grayson sure has a way of derailing all of Jason’s plans, that’s for sure.
He was expecting to find something different. An exhausted Nightwing leading city repair and rescue efforts, clearly overworked. A stressed and worried older brother, concerned about his little brother’s injuries from the big bad Red Hood. Even something related to Jason being the Red Hood, whether it was pissed or confused or whatever. Not–
Not this. Not a bundled up lump of man with unwashed hair and empty eyes lying on the bed in a messy hotel room, talking about having seen Jason before (despite Jason knowing he hasn’t) and implying that Jason is going to take him to die.
OR:
Red Hood comes looking for Nightwing. Jason Todd doesn't like what he finds.

Summary
The joker kidnapped Damian. When the bats find the location they realize too late they were fed a trap, they are lead to believe Damian was killed in the explosion. (He wasn’t don’t worry) What comes next is possibly the most justified crash out possible as Nightwing has to convince his family to get out of his way to the joker in the only language these stubborn bats know. Violence. Little do they know, the goons of Blüdhaven don’t commit crime when Nightwing is not quipping for a reason, a quiet Nightwing is a Nightwing that doesn’t need to bother with fanfare or acrobatics. If spyral taught him one thing, it’s that a snake takes the quickest route to its target when lunging.

"Whatever, we can figure this all out later. You know, after we get the homicidal maniac behind bars again?" Duke spoke up, being the voice of reason amongst their wandering brains.
"Yeah, Duke's right. Let's get this over with then we can ask Dick. And if he won't answer, we'll just ask Tim." Steph's voice was as cheerful as ever despite the situation. And Jason wishes he could say the same, but something was pulling at him.
Something wasn't right, and he'd be damned if he didn't find out what.
OR
Jason Todd is not a good guy. Or nice. Or even ok. But he tries. He will try till he dies (again) even if that means working up the strength to face the one man he can't. But slowly, him and the others start to realize that maybe, there's something more going on here.
