Summary

Summary
The Plane of Euthymia did not change.
After all, so long as Ei was here, she did not change. Here, she was wholly and utterly removed from the world beyond. Immutable. Eternal.
But, then again. Not all of herself was actually in the Plane of Euthymia, was it?
Perhaps that served as reason enough for the incongruity that had stirred her from her meditation.
There was a warm fluttering in her chest.
In which, between the God of Eternity and her artificial vessel, Ei somehow manages to be the more emotionally constipated of the two.

The Shogun raised her arm to allow the crow to easily perch on it.
Looks were exchanged and the Shogun simply nodded.
“I see…”
She took a quick breath to ready herself.
“It appears they have gotten bolder…”
With a quick flap the crow rose from her arm and started to circle her. Halfway through however the Shogun heard the loud rustle of feathers and instead of a crow, it was her trusted General who landed right next to her.
“I will accompany you.”
The Tengu’s voice was steadfast and Sara had a fierce look in her eyes. The Shogun couldn’t help an ever so small, barely visible, smile at how well those eyes of a warrior suited her General.
“There is no need. These Rift Hounds still won’t pose a problem.”
