Despite outward appearances and all notions to the contrary-
Alastor did not like pain.
Sure. A nick or two in the heat of battle didn’t bother him. Nor did the soreness that came from twisting his limbs in unnatural directions!
But this? This searing, unending physical torment as his insides were slowly burned away by angelic power- This was not something he could ignore.

Alastor makes a deal with Lucifer to heal his wound from Adam and now finds himself bound to the king.
All this extra time spent together certainly won't change the nature of their relationship, right?

Summary
Watching Lucifer in the kitchen, cooking pancakes and drawing smiling faces on them using bananas and chocolate syrup, one could almost be forgiven for thinking him the very picture of innocence.
He was so far from the man who, less than half an hour ago, had a hand wrapped around Alastor's throat as he yanked his head back and growled into his ear: “You should see yourself. How good you look when you're getting fucked.”

Summary
The vest moved by unseen hands, folding into a neat pile while aloft, but, try as he might to angle his cameras remotely, he could still not see what propelled this odd reality. Then a swath of dark, flaxen yellow filled the screen as an arm reached to take the folded garment. A familiar rich goldenrod fabric with thin pinstripes, faded to amber from many years of well-loved wear, of a turtleneck he had hidden in a neglected box at the back of his closet for decades now.
As it moved, a sudden distortion filled the screen and his eyes flew wide. The hand at the end of that sleeve... had red claws.
"Alastor!?" he cried as he shot to his feet, only to sway woozily from the vertigo of too many exposed pieces and pulled taught wires.
"Ah, hello Vox, my dear! I was wondering how long I would be waiting," a cheeky grin and one pixelated, glowing eye became visible as he leaned into view.
"What the hell are you doing in my apartment?!"
Vox is the unfortunate victim of an acid rainstorm and an old friend drops by to nurse him back to health.

Summary
The mug is the last straw.
The aggressive red lines mock him from across the room, drawing his eye no matter how much he tries to resist. Not only is it ridiculous, garish, but the damned audacity he has in drinking from it like it’s just another cup makes it impossible to think of anything else.
Alastor doesn’t hate many things, but seeing his artwork defaced and enjoyed by that damned clown is far more than he can stomach.

Summary
Once upon a time, Lucifer was minding his own goddamn business, living a perfectly normal life – one that he was very happy with, thank you very much.
That perfectly normal life – that he was very happy with – was abruptly turned on its head by the arrival of a mysterious fae, calling himself ‘Alastor’.
It turns out that normal life gets a lot harder to manage when you’ve got an almost mythical creature following you around, insisting he’s ‘helping.’ Lucifer isn’t sure how almost getting him arrested is meant to be any kind of help at all – but he has to admit, there is something about this man. Fae. Creature? Something about Alastor.
Something that seems to draw him in, an elusive sense of belonging that he’s never really had. The question is – can he prevent himself from throttling Alastor long enough to figure out what it is?
