You didn’t understand how you ever made it into Heaven.
A short lifetime spent in a cult should have sent you to hell, you were sure of it. But somewhere along the way, your good deeds must have outweighed the rest, because the day you died, you woke up in Heaven dressed in snow-white robes and a glowing halo over your head.
Adam met you first, and from that day on, you were one of his obedient exterminators. His praise never appealed to you, because you weren’t Lute, but his commands were chains all the same. You followed orders because that’s all you had ever known.
(“So while you were alive you’re a follower, and now in Heaven you’re still a follower,” Abel stated as a matter of fact, but then realized how rude his words may have come across. “Oh, not like that- I just want you to be free and do whatever you want. But if being an exterminator is what you want to do, then I will support you.”
You wondered how Adam had such a son like Abel, who acted nothing like Adam.
If you were to follow anyone, you would follow Abel because he was the kind of person that should represent Heaven. He was Heaven himself, is what you believed.)
