Things are excellent. Harry hasn’t been drinking for years, has developed various coping mechanisms, and has been dutifully taking his pills. He has a kick-arse job that satisfies not only his appetite for adrenaline but most of the time even his moral compass, and a blooming academic career that he almost feels he deserves. His friends support his decisions, his team has his back, and his partner is an actual saint.
So he really shouldn’t be surprised when the seemingly unrelated threads from old and new cases start to intertwine, painting a picture he wishes he’s never seen.
This is a sequel to ‘Burn Your Biographies’. Reading it without being familiar with BYB first won’t make much sense, but you can certainly try.
