If it had happened whilst I was on a spacewalk to heroically fix part of our now somewhat-battered ship, or dramatically throwing myself through the lab to catch a vital piece of equipment before it shattered, I might have been able to accept it. As it is, it’s just carelessness – one of those little things that happens from time to time in a wide, indifferent universe.

One of the good ones, where the leads fall in love at first sight and just know that they've found the One even if they're too scared to admit it to themselves at first.
