Summary
La vida después de escapar del Circo Digital no es sencilla, pero Jax está intentando dejar atrás sus demonios del pasado y rehacer su vida.
Una noche cualquiera tiene un encuentro inesperado con una desconocida que resulta ser Ragatha, su antigua compañera del circo, quien es la única a quien no ha vuelto a ver después del escape. Ese encuentro sacude su tranquila y monótona vida, Ragatha se convierte en todo un misterio para él, el cual no puede evitar querer descifrar. Ambos se ven envueltos en una extraña relación, en la que cada uno intentara mantener su distancia, pero Jax no contaba en ser el primero en caer y bajar la guardia.

Her expression broke.
“Excuse me, what?”Ragatha's expression broke down into a rapid succession of emotions: first disbelief, then utter confusion, and finally a blush so intense that it seemed to illuminate her cheeks under the moonlight.
“You heard me, let's try to feel something.” It was crazy, he would be sick if he did it, but if they managed to feel something, a form of pleasure that washed away all the crap, who else could do it? Their connection was obvious, and it was another reason why Ragatha's mere presence irritated him, but right now that connection gave him permission to push those boundaries.
“Okay?” he asked again.
“Wait, are you serious?” she asked again, not knowing how to process it.
