The events in the fanfic happening pre-canon. This is likely OOC. I made up everything, none of this canon interaction. Just my imagination. only the drifter and venator are game characters.
Quinn Rourke in his early thirties, not scarred by his duty and still green to his occupation. He is trapped in the old church in Romania. Outside are three young and very hungry vampires he has no ammo left and in general he was not ready for a fight. Maybe the universe chose to help him or maybe he was simply lucky but he is helped by the old vampire, who asked for his blood in return. When he agreed to his demands he didn’t know he made a life changing decision but this was only the beginning of this unholy affair.

Marty’s grip on his gun wavers but comes back quick. “What the fuck?” he says, and doesn’t know if he’s ever asked that question in any purer sense of the phrase. “How the fuck did you—why’s there—why’s there a twelve-foot wide hole in my fucking yard?”
The man groans and rolls around onto his back, gritting his teeth as his head drops into the soft dirt. He closes his eyes against the sky when he answers. “I fell.”

"MSF FNG," Jack shot back. Whatever that meant, he sounded amused.
Darnell scoffed and looked to Robby, expression going decidedly unimpressed. "Oh, yeah? You here to find yourself? Have an adventure? Do something hard?" he asked, each question more mocking than the last.
And there was that question again, like it was haunting Robby. He stifled his instinct to bite back and kept it simple: "I'm here to help."
