Summary
One night seven years ago, Dave and Derrick Strider disappeared. Two months later, Derrick's body was found; Blood drained, neck broken. Dave's was not recovered, but Kanaya confirmed that the building smelled of Dave's blood- too strongly for him to still be alive.
Now, Karkat works for an organization that tries to make sure no one else will ever have to feel the pain he did, he does, at knowing someone he cared about, someone he loved, is dead at the hands of a vampire that gives the entire species a bad name.
