Summary
Elphaba isn't sure how to tell Fiyero that she's pregnant. This isn't something they've talked about, and it's not exactly news that she wants to give him in a letter over the summer vacation. But she knows that he loves her, and surely everything else will work itself out.
But when Frex discoverates the news before the girls return to Shiz for Elphaba to give Fiyero the news, he takes matters into his own hands and plots an awful crime.
