That was what he always told people. He supposed, technically, he still was one, but some days it did not feel like it. He should probably find a different way to say it, because every time he did, he got the questions he never wanted to answer.
Even when they came from the right place, Colt hated all of them. His hands gripped the steering wheel, itching to take a left onto that narrow, dirt road he knew would take him to that discreet NASA lab that he was not supposed to know about.
