Cloud may know jack about gardening, he still knows enough that any type of flower growing in the slums would have to put up a relentless fight between Midgar’s poisoned soil and sunless sky alone—and that’s not even factoring the resilience it takes to bloom. No, the flower seller owns the slums of Sector 7, queen of busted mako pipes and garbage piles. And judging by the quick turn of her hand and turn of sales with it? She’s good at playing the part.
Five years since his departure, Cloud returns to Midgar with little more than dim memories and an empty wallet. He's put to work by Avalanche who is coordinating a bombing on one of Shinra's reactors, but his first independent assignment gives him much more than he had bargained for.
