Hermione sat back in her wooden chair and closed her eyes. This was just supposed to be a trial run to see if former Death Eaters could have the opportunity to live and work publicly in the wizarding world, giving them a chance. Ron had found out through the grapevine that they would be working with Hermione, and like a bat out of Hell, he rushed upstairs to her office. Hermione was actually surprised he figured this out a week earlier than she thought he would.
Hermione heard a knock on her door before it opened. “Ron, just five minutes of qu-“ She opened her eyes to see Draco and Theo standing a few feet away.
“We can come back.” Draco looked at her, a bit uncertain about what Weasley had done to upset her.
The first time the three were face to face, she had snapped. “Sorry, I just thought you were Ron, and well, you can guess the rest.” She used the edge of the desk to stand back up, her belly sticking out. “Let’s see, they haven’t bro-,”
“Oh my Merlin, are you pregnant?!" Theo asked, nudging Draco, who placed his hand over his face, embarrassed for his friend.
“No, Nott, I swallowed a watermelon. Yes, I’m pregnant. Can everyone stop talking about my pregnancy?”
