But this was still the easy part. Now for Sabo, and Ace, and even Luffy.
He wishes he could tell Sengoku everything. Senny was always the one for the long-term plots, for fitting people together like pieces in a puzzle, until his grand picture becomes clear. But Sengoku can't know. He's got no flexibility. No room in his Justice for any wavering. -

A cool breeze touches his cheek. He looks down, and feels his gut twist. Even without makeup, he would recognize Cora. Even as a ghost.
There's nothing else he could be. His hand, where it cradles Law's cheek, is insubstantial, translucent. His coat, hat, and makeup are all gone, but the bloodstains on his chest and arms and legs remain, dripping black smoke instead. His eyes are the clearest thing about him, wide with worry.
"Cora," Law manages to say through disbelief and horror.
When Law says his name, some of the panic clears from Cora's expression. "Kid," he says, "What's-- do you know what's going on?"
Law shakes his head, but says, "This is Flevance." -

Appo wasn’t stupid, and he wasn’t actually blind, either, no matter what people thought about him. He followed orders without question, of course, but his strict adherence to protocol wasn’t about being dogmatic for the sake of it, the way it was for some others. It was because the rules were simply far too easy to break – and once you started breaking them, it was easier and easier to keep on doing so, and harder and harder to turn back. If Slick could be vanished without a proper designation, then so could anyone else, and that was a dangerous precedent to set.

I’d rather not bring anyone, because it would make it much more difficult to hide what I was doing, but if they found out I wasn’t governed after I’d already opened the Gate for them, their chances of escape would still be much better than they were currently.
Mensah’s first question was, “How would you do it?”
So I told her, leaving out the part where the arrests would get logged and then deleted. She also wanted to know how long it would take, if there were other security measures in the control room, what it would take for management to reverse the edit - lots of good questions. When I’d answered to her satisfaction, she brought in a few of the others to discuss the idea, but I was 85 percent certain I’d already convinced her. In my drone camera view, her eyes looked brighter, like she too could see the probabilities shifting. -

Which made sense because Calypso knew an Emperor had no reason to be on a rookie crew's submarine. But that did not explain why the other looked so much like Red Haired Shanks.
Shamrock was not sure why his Father had allowed Bonney to live when she was a bastard child with Figarland blood running through her veins. Her survival, however, meant that he could get to know her. Could bond with a potential sibling that did not renounce him the moment he met him like Shanks had done. The problem was, that she was dying and Vegapunk was an option Shamrock had no wish to pursue. Fortunately for him, the Ope-Ope no Mi's user was no longer lost.
Law would just want to know why he is suddenly being kidnapped by someone bearing an uncanny resemblance to an Emperor of the Sea.

UA has a rule—no quirkless students. It was added years ago, after much hemming and hawing about safety concerns and lessening blame in the inevitable circumstance of death. There's no real reason to remove it, not as the percentage of quirkless people plummets further and further.
Of course, this rule doesn't actually matter to Izuku, because he's got an analysis quirk.
As far as anyone knows.
The Plan is simple: have a quirk, become a hero, and avoid anyone who could disprove those first two things.
In hindsight, UA isn't a great choice. And that's before the villains.

Their quirks are invisible, just like the detective's—on the surface, they could be thought of as quirkless.
But they aren't, because they're weird, because they have mental quirks.
Izuku can't change the weather. Can't explode. Can't grow horns.
But they can't do that either, and still they have quirks, and still people know that.
This is perhaps to his future self's detriment, but seven-year-old Izuku goes right home and starts figuring out how to be weird.
