Harley wakes up in the middle of the night, in the middle of nowhere, his head pounding and five years of his life missing from his memories.
Harley finds an orchard that takes him in while he struggles to remember his recent past, and a way to get home, terrified to learn he’s not in Tennessee anymore and has no idea how he got to New York. What makes it worse is his mom’s phone number isn’t working and no one believes that he actually knows Tony Stark. With no way to communicate with either of them, he’s stuck at the orchard until he can remember something to help him.
Meanwhile, Tony and Peter desperately search everywhere to find Harley before the set ransom time, not wanting to play the kidnapper’s game and risk the disadvantage.
Harley finds comfort in the people around him, and in being a ‘stray’, as the people who live and work at the farm are called. He grapples with his past as he stays there, and learns the farm is more connected to it then he knew. And is Harley really safe? Or are the people who want to hurt him still lurking in the shadows, waiting for the best moment to strike? -

But the worst part is that Tony barely pays attention to him anymore. He so badly needs attention.
So when one of Tony's business partners shows him attention at the party, Harley grabs onto it with fervor. It felt good to be wanted, to be appreciated.
