Summary
Eddie knew that there was something up with Buck, he could always tell when something was wrong with his best friend, because even after only a year Eddie was certain he knew Buck better than he knew himself. And there was definitely something off about the other man.
He tried to keep a close eye on him, always glancing over at him when he wasn’t stuck to his hip, wanting to make sure he was okay. After everything he’d been through, Buck had to be okay.
At some point Buck had begun coughing, little closed mouthed coughs, like he was trying to hide them, but of course Eddie noticed, so he upped his surveillance.
And then the cough got worse, and worse, and worse, until Buck was staggering back and then collapsed to the floor.

After passing his recertification test Buck suffers from a pulmonary embolism, and it only gets worse from there.

Steve gets startled out of his flashbacks as they abruptly end, and someone is talking to him. A girl, but the voice feels distant. The girl keeps talking, not necessarily about anything in particular. Steve thinks she mentions a soldier at one point, but he can’t be sure.
“—and then, Sam trips and falls on his fucking face. It was gorgeous. I don’t think I had ever laughed that damn hard in my life, Steve. When he saw that I was laughing at him,” she cursed in Russian as she laughed, “he looked at me like I was the Devil!” Her voice split into cackles. Natasha, he recognised her now.
His voice broke as he whispered, “Natasha,” and a small breath of a laugh escaped him.
“There you are.” Steve looked at her. Her orange hair was tied up into a high-ponytail, and she was in her training outfit. Steve could make out a few weapons on her person, since Natasha never went anywhere without them. “Had me worried for a second. Your nails are all busted.”Series

The thing is, Tim wasn’t himself when he was looking for Bruce. In his grief, Tim was Red Robin, and Red Robin was built for solitude. Red Robin crossed lines that Tim Drake wouldn’t even tiptoe on. He was detached and gray and everything Tim had tried not to be as Robin. But now that Bruce is back, and Damian is Robin, and nobody really knows what he’s done- Red Robin is all he has left. And Red Robin was built for solitude.
There’s something wrong with Tim. The Tim Jason knew was poised, snarky, arrogant. A stubborn-as-shit asshole. And, of course, so loyal and committed to the Bat-legacy that Jason wasn’t really sure if the kid had any hobbies outside the suit. This new Tim, this Red Robin, is someone else entirely. Someone who’s one reckless crusade away from getting himself killed.
And Jason has a few things to say about dead Robins, Red or not.
Or: After Bruce returns from the time stream, Tim Drake keeps the mantle of Red Robin and throws himself into international cases to avoid going home. Jason runs into him, gets a bad feeling, and follows him to the ends of the earth (literally).

Summary
This family was failing Tim miserably, Damian realized. Pushing him away without even realizing it. Treating him as though he were just an acquaintance, someone they didn't really feel any kind of love towards.
Yet Damian knew that they did love Tim. They loved him very much. And frankly, so did he.
But how was he supposed to fix this issue? By telling everyone that Tim was a master liar and they needed to be on the lookout? No, that would just irritate Tim. But the only alternative was to stay silent and allow it to continue.
What was Damian to do?
Damian finds out more and more about how Tim has been treated by his family and is not amused. He decides it's his job to rectify this, since clearly no one else plans to.
(5 times Damian gently nudged Tim closer to the family + 1 time Damian aggressively shoved Tim into it)

Summary
Put on a “break” by Bruce so Tim stays out of the way while the Wayne’s get things sorted with Jason’s return, Tim finds that without Robin life generally sucks. Jack and Dana are fighting, his dad’s drinking… Tim’s still dealing with trauma from being attacked at Titan’s Tower…
But then a classmate, Bernard, makes things kind of not suck, and then Bernard admits to him that he might have feelings for Tim. As in, more than just friendship feelings, and Tim.exe stops working for a bit because he had never thought of that before. But, now that he is, Tim can see it, too. But he’s never - he doesn’t - He’s not sure what this means.
Things come to an explosive head when he comes home, finding his dad waiting up for him, drunk and angry because someone had called him about seeing Tim and Bernard holding hands.
