Word quickly spreads among FO staff about the new living arrangements. Rumors about Snoke having forbidden love between his co-commanders gains in popularly and soon both Hux and Kylo are receiving congratulations from everyone on the crew. Morale is so high due to the misconception they're together that they decide to try to keep up the illusion of being a happy couple for the good of the Order."

Summary
Just as everything was beginning to fall apart for the First Order, Kylo Ren had walked away. Not only from the floundering war machine, but from his lover. Hux should have gone down with his ship like a true soldier, but he wasn't ready to die.
Now he's spent two years alone and in hiding from the burgeoning New Republic. Two things keep him going: the belief that one day destiny will come calling, and that he will get a chance to kill Kylo Ren.
When that chance finally comes, however, he realizes that perhaps Ren has been his destiny all along.
