Shen Qingqiu was momentarily taken aback. "...What is it?"
"Shizun, it's amazing! It's a miracle! It's A-Luo! Luo Binghe! He's back, Shizun! He's alive and he's back!"
Shen Qingqiu suddenly felt as though a glacier's worth of ice water had been dumped down his back.

He blinks, and they aren’t eyes at all, but feathers, perched on a mound of coiled, shifting vines that are dotted with white thorns dyed their own bright red from Shen Qingqiu’s blood.
“Go to sleep, Shizun,” the black-and-red bird sings, coaxing.
“Go to sleep,” Luo Bingge repeats, as he flickers back into being.
