"Sounds illegal," Amy deadpanned. "Aren't we supposed to be heroes?"
Madison waggled a hand. "I'd probably just skim from some billionaire assholes, they're not going to notice anything under a hundred thousand dollars... or however that much is in yen. The IDs, yeah, more morally grey, but we literally don't have any paperwork whatsoever."
"Speaking from experience, I can live with a little ID fraud if it keeps us from sleeping out on the streets," Emily said bluntly.
"Right. The bigger problem is the laws around quirks."

Summary
Samus Aran, despite frequently being hailed as the Savior of the Galaxy, still sees herself as just another bounty hunter. She did what was needed and got paid for it, and that was it. She never really saw herself as heroic or some sort of hero, even if she wound up filling the role whenever a planet, star system, or the galaxy needed saving.
But on this latest mission the Chozo give her, she'll truly get a chance to truly be a Hero, and in the process learn why she's always been one. -

Chapter 18 - Indefinite hiatus.
I had reread through this, then managed to finish reading through the Great Alicorn Hunt before going to look him up elsewhere. To my great surprise and disappointment, I learned RHJ had passed. I greatly enjoyed this fic, and I'm quite sad to see it'll never be finished. -

Chapter 23 - Indefinite hiatus. I personally enjoyed this fic. It's one of the best fics for MHA that I've ever read, and part of that is due to who wrote it and what level of attention they gave everything in it as a result.
