    Jayce was standing a little off to the side, away from the center of the room. His fingers wrapped around a half-empty glass, a slight tint of colour on his cheeks hinted that it was not the first. He was smiling softly, his attention caught by the elderly couple in front of him.

    Viktor found himself staring, his blood rushing up his neck to his face. Jayce’s face looked even brighter than the golden decorating the entire room.
    In a moment, Jayce’s gaze shifted from the couple and immediately found Viktor’s amber one. His heart stopped as he feared he would collapse right then and there.
