“I-I- what?” Lucy said, spinning to see if there were any other Lucy Carlyles- *of course not, stupid* she scoffed to herself. “I- me?!” She said, pointing to herself.
“Hey Luce. Sorry, I got caught up trying to get the last jelly donuts- George woulda had my head.” *great,* thought Lucy. “Oh… hello Ms. Fittes. How’s today treating you?”
“Just fine now that I saw Ms. Carlyle here,” she purred, winking at Lucy.
“Auhm- we- I’ve- we’ve got to go now, Ms. Fittes. Ihm, see you later?” Lucy stuttered out.
“Oh sure, sweets. Just come her, I want to hug you.” Said Penelope. Lucy walked in for a severely awkward hug. She felt a hand slip in her pocket and she gasped, pulling away.
“Bye Ms. Fittes,” she gasped out.
“Please, call me Penelope.”

It was your first time leaving Vanaheim. You were excited and nervous about your family's visit to Asgard. Your father and sister were there to discuss important dignitary matters. You were brought along to be a shining gift for the Aesir royal family to use. That is what happens when you're the best seer in an age. You spend your days divining futures without being allowed any thought for your own. You knew what your life was going to be and this was it. A precious and pretty ornament for others to use when needed.
That was until you were put in front of Prince Loki and suddenly that future that rolled towards you like an endless road had come to a dead halt. For the first time in a long time you had no idea what the future had in store for you. The thought was as terrifying as it was thrilling.
