Tengen’s plan was simple in theory. They graduate high school, pile into his car, and drive from one coast of America to the other before college scattered them across the country. Kyojuro called it “one final epic adventure.”
Tengen called it “a flamboyant send-off to youth.” Giyu called it a terrible idea.
But Sanemi was going.
And leaving his best friend, Sanemi, alone in a car with Kyojuro and Tengen for several weeks? That’s highly irresponsible. So really, Giyu didn’t have much of a choice. Especially considering, he’ll be losing his person- I mean his best friend- come the end of summer.

Sanemi Shinazugawa was not a kind man.
Everyone would tell you so. ‘Kind’ was simply not a word that suited him. He was rash, loud, angry, and abrasive all the time, to those he had just met. To his friends, he was mean, cold, caring, and protective, but just not kind. Even he didn’t think so.
So when Giyuu Tomioka, a man he had done nothing but despise, called him ‘kind,’ you could guess he was more than surprised. And he didn’t like being surprised.

Or, Tomioka tries his best to befriend Shinazugawa, despite the numerous times that Tomioka has been and continues to be seriously hurt by him. It isn't until Giyuu's words start bothering him all the time that Sanemi realizes that something is up. And he doesn't like that something.
Also Genya and Sanemi are on good terms in this because i love them being happy brothers ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
