    Summary

Popstar, Ariana Grande, is in a relationship with fellow popstar - Eddie Sutton. When the two lovers get papped leaving a nightclub together, rumors start to swirl about their secret relationship. Concerned that his popularity is going to take a hit, Eddie tells Ariana to fix it.

Ariana does so by telling the media that Eddie isn't the person she's in a relationship with. In fact, they're focusing on the wrong person. She "comes out" by telling them that she's, instead, in a relationship with the other woman that can be seen in the photos.

The woman in the photos is Cynthia Erivo, Off-Broadway actor by day and exotic dancer by night. When she gets propositioned by Ariana to pretend to date her to take the heat off of Eddie, Cynthia's life gets changed for the better, for the worse...and for all time.

Needless to say, she’s surprised to see her roommate in front of her. Summary

At Shiz University, Professor Elphaba Thropp does not do favorites. She does not do exceptions. And she does not get distracted.

Galinda Upland is an exception she never agreed to noticing.

Bright, popular, and infuriatingly composed, Galinda shouldn’t stand out in Elphaba’s lecture hall the way she does. But she does. Every question, every answer, every quiet moment where Elphaba catches herself looking a second too long.

    It starts with academic interest.

It does not stay that way.

    Summary

"To be clear, Glinda the Good loved her husband, Chauffery.

She did. He was so very good to her — for her. She thought so whilst rolling her wedding bands between two framing fingers. The inlaid gemstones were still as pink and bright and sparkling as the day he'd slipped it onto her hand.

    Just as she'd always wanted."

i'd describe this as a showcase for Glinda's impeccable mental gymnastics, a scarecrow who is very much over two obvious lesbians, the many lies of Glinda the Good after she's convinced herself that she's a capable spy, a contest for the best backhanded insult, and Glinda's inevitable realization that you cannot outrun your sexuality...oh and hot Elphie! (it's my favorite trope!) they're all featured in this 'short' story.
