Summary
The harvest festival was in full swing when the kingdom of Hawkins was ambushed and attacked by the Southern Raiders, led by the infamous Vecna. Horrified, Prince Steve had to watch his parents get slaughtered. He managed to get away. Desperate and fueled by the burning desire for revenge, he turned to something they had sworn never to turn to.

“Come on then, kiss me,” Merlin says, batting his eyelashes exaggeratedly for good measure. “That’s what a good fake boyfriend would do.”
“Maybe I’m a bad fake boyfriend,” Arthur responds archly.
“No, you’re not,” Merlin says, sensibly, “because then what would be the actual point of making up this stupid lie, and telling Gwen?”
Arthur looks up at him, swallows, and Merlin can tell he’s won. “Fine. I’ll kiss you. No promises about how eye-catching it will be.”
Merlin grins. “Believe me, every eye in the room will be on us.”
Arthur frowns. “That sounds ominous.”
“I know,” Merlin says, waggling his eyebrows.

Summary
