The woman raises a cold look over her fan. "You walk into my establishment, request for a room, bath and refreshments but decline my brothel's services," she drawls. "Do you think I run a shelter for lost kittens like you who've wandered too far from home?"
"... No?"
The woman shuts her fan with a loud snap. Shen Yuan jumps in his seat. She leans forward, using the edge of her closed fan to tilt Shen Yuan's chin up. Her eyes narrow as she studies him. "What is your name, boy?"
"S-Shen Yuan."
The woman hums before withdrawing her fan. "Pleased to meet you, Xiao Yuan," she says, cool and aloof. "Madame Jiu, at your service."
Out of desperation, Shen Yuan goes to a brothel to sleep for the night.
or: It's always the pathetic boys that Madame Jiu can't seem to resist.

This worldbuilding heavy prequel details the rise of Mobei-jun to a unique future of greatness, the life of matchmaking transmigrator Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky, and the eventual budding romance between Tianlang-jun and Su Xiyan, as these bright-eyed idealists attempt to find a way to unite the demon and human realms into a single, peaceful union.]
In which the System, seeking to expand the franchise of PIDW that SVSSS became second entry to, takes some joke notes of Airplane's to create an omegaverse AU prequel set before Tianlang-jun meets Su Xiyan. Additionally, Shen Yuan reincarnates into baby Mobei-jun, instead of the scum villain. In other words, Cumplane failing upwards while trying to help Tianxi stay together.
