Summary
When Dennis agreed to cover shifts for Dr. Mohan on the night shift, he didn't think he would ever end up here. Kidnapped from the ambulance bay, his head pounding, and having to save the life of a man with limited medical supplies. That was supposed to be it. Somehow, he finds himself snatched up off a sidewalk, in the stables, in front of his home. There were no sacred spaces when you proved your worth.
In the middle of it all, Dennis is confused by the way Dr. Robby and Dr. Abbot are circling him. The way they'd reach out and brush their fingers against his skin. The way they made sure he ate, got rest, and stayed safe. It made him ache with something he hadn't felt in a long time.

Well, I thought, 'That's some shit odds'. But what I should have thought, or maybe even noticed, was the way Dr.strange looked at me when he finished. Those few seconds of guilt, of pity seeping through his cold expression; those were the only few seconds I had to prepare.
So, please, forgive me. Because I hadn't a clue about the shit I was about to be thrown in.
